The map in my veins
Lead to those unknown paths
Across the world
To places and spaces
I was meant to go
To connect with those
I was to meet
Its all ordained I can tell
Now as I look back
Each relevant to whole
Emerging & merging
In this story of life
The pen with words I weild now
Yields through as witness
To learnings and experiences
Leaving an imprint
In the footprints of time.

Love this quote 💙
Look up, laugh loud, talk big, keep the color in your cheek and the fire in your eye, adorn your person, maintain your health, your beauty and your animal spirits.
William Hazlitt
Floating Dreams
I had this beautiful dream
Of flaming ruby red lights
Dancing on blue waves of water
Floating lanterns all afire
As the fire burns brighter
The flickering lights
Waltzing on water…Savvy
Artists have a blessing
It’s in their ability to touch time
Past present or future
With their inspired creations
For art touches time
As much as the intangibles
Evoking nostalgia
Creating an intimate connection
That’s almost felt & sensed
Such is the power of art
An evolved appreciation
Standing the test of time.

Allow yourself spirit to emanate joy
Allow the body to feel its contentment
Allow the self to embody peace
Allow the heart to open itself to possibilities
Allow the self to move in space and sense the freedom it offers.
Just be and allow
Between & betwixt spaces
Of pause and activity
In the thinking and doing
Overcome the challenges
Of the conflicts of being.
Move on from valleys of reactions
From impulsive actions
That stems from assumptions
Reach out in responsiveness
Being positively intentional
Leading to clarity
In the deeper listening.

Hopegiving & motivational words that serve as a reminder to self.
Feel free to share with whomever you think needs it at this moment.
Let not the problems that come by boggle you .
Know time has all the answers
Keep the faith.
Let not the hear and say affect you.
There is always more than what is said or heard.
So much more.
Let not the passion for whatever you do dwindle
Rest & recharge yourself & keep the spirit alive.
Let not the weight of what you carry pull you down.
You are definitely not defined by how much you bear.
You are much more than that.
So go ahead, aspire to transform yourself for the better
And keep moving closer to your dreams.
Taking a step in time.
And most importantly, trust in yourself
For there is always so much more
To you, for you & by you.

My painting interpretation for today’s thoughts …
In this dance of life
Turn your doubts to decisions
Turn your worries to wins
Turn your pain to possibilities
Turn your hurts to hope
All is a matter of a turn.

Being a happy person
I have tided over
The challenges with a smile
Grateful for the dance in my life
I draw energy from movements
As they appear to move me
I unwind and unfurl
My hearts deepest feelings
In the flow of the moves
I sense the beauty of this now.
And I smile from the heart.

It’s no surprise
Words flow as I write
As if awaiting me to simply begin
It’s a natural way
That I express my emotions
Through verses in the flow
All at once as if in a rush
In one sitting
And I don’t rearrange it
I chose not to change it
For it is my truth
As it came to me.
As it’s meant to be.
Poetry is personal
Raw poetry is a piece of ones soul
Too many edits to perfect it
And you have something
That somehow loses track
Of its own purpose.
Dancing to me
Is being in love with life
In every moment there is a dance
Of joy waiting to be found.

Love begets love
But being in love
Can be bittersweet
For love takes you
On a journey
Unto your own self
It tests you.
In opportune times
It lays bear your soul
Challenges your body & mind
Many times over
Until you are ready
To see love for itself
Beyond the apparitions
Aspire to love & be loved
For it is better to love & be loved
Than not at all.

Seeds of consciousness
We are all born with them
Love, and kindness
Care & compassion
Our feelings and emotions
Our heart shows the way
In our thoughts & our actions
It’s upto us , in our lives
To find them & nurture them.

The seed bears wisdom untold
From humble beginnings
Emerges immense possibilities
What seems a non starter
Can be a gamechanger.
And yet…
Growth has many phases
In the course of its life
Through the ups & downs
The chaos gives way to clarity
From the immature to maturity
The tree stands tall
Embracing the changes .
The seed to a tree
Teaches the wisdom of patience,
As it bears fruits in time.

To be ok
You need to allow
Yourself to feel
And allow space
For yourself to heal.
