A house on a tree? Sure that would be an experience But the way of life Is if you are living on a tree Make sure that within you You plant the tree of Gratitude For life is a circle Circle in with a grateful heart.
A thought in kindness A word of kindness A deed in kindness Count up much more Than you realise Imagine the wealth of joy You will have created In a lifetime.
Gratitude makes us recognize and value things we already have even more. That is how it brings a sense of abundance.
Every day a practice of gratitude could include a variety of things that may feel right to you. From seeing the positives in a situation or in people, focusing on the good in life journaling regularly and being thankful, etc
A practice of living life with a positive attitude makes life more meaningful.
Give gratitude freely without holding back.
Thank you dear reader, Truly grateful for your time. Pls consider sharing this message of giving gratitude in this now.
Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does. ~Margaret Atwood
Loved reading this quote share on water. Being able to imbibe the nature of water speaks much of the person you are.
To be like water as Bruce Lee famously suggested, calls for flexibility, adaptability, persistence and most importantly humility.
Water is soft yet powerful in its ways. Overcoming rigidity with gentleness of yielding in the flow.
To be able to take on the mightiest rocks of resistance with the power of persistence in the flow.
And yet be able to take shape and mold along the vagaries of existence.
Water never competes for it is secure and complete in itself.
Giving in the flowing through Strengthened in the harmony of the very flow.
Water is what water does. Such is the way of water.
Nowadays, I am finding there are lot of films produced on women empowerment in different languages. Perhaps this is what the public wants to watch. What is interesting to note is how well it resonates with our times.
I enjoy watching films that make you think and feel as much as I enjoy happy fun films
I just finished watching a new Hindi movie called Sukhee. It’s about a daring woman (Shilpa Shetty) who elopes and gets married to a man of her choice in her college days. In time she becomes a homemaker. But her husband over the years stops valuing her. She toils everyday at home but her daughter stops needing her. Her only desire is to go meet her friends and attend her school reunion after 20 years. But her husband does not want her to go.
Nevertheless she leaves them and goes to meet her school friends. She realises how much she has missed her old life and wants to stay back some more… But her husband gives her an ultimatum to come back now or never come back…
What decision she takes forms the rest of the story…
On Strength of Empowerment
We talk of strength and there are many strengths in the challenges Of Courage Of Resilience Of Tolerance Of Patience
Speaking of women, I want you to answer this following question.
Who is a strong empowered woman? The one who has the courage to get up and leave when she knows she is simply being used but not wanted? Or the one who stays and dares to change the equation?
There is a dance of divinity in every cell of life.
There is the interconnectedness of life in every being.
Be conscious of the universe in you. As well as in others Be empathic be humane Sense answers within Find the light within Feel the abundance of Love Sense the divinity in you
Mother Nature’s Whispers of wisdom Is in and all around us.
Just care to look around. Just have little time to listen.
The drizzling rain , The gentle breeze, The spreading fragrance of blooming flowers. Soothing all those around. No discrimination. No differentiation.
The mountains touching the clouds, The trees that stand tall and high, All whispers That transcience is eternal here. Spring and autumn are just cycles . Be in equanimity In highs and lows.
The sun, the moon, the mighty ocean, All the elements of nature Just whisper Discipline, punctuality, Valuing boundaries in spite of immense power,
The bearing trees, The green fields. The flowing rivers The very earth we stand upon, All whispers Humility, Generosity, Patience, Selflessness, Nourishing, Nurturing.
The lessons are many. How many we carry?
For eons are these Timeless whispers. When will we have the time and patience To listen and learn. To practice and bow down.
Don’t time travel into the past, roaming through the nuances as if they can change. Don’t bookmark pages you’ve already read. James Altucher
Aren’t we all guilty of going back in time?
Sometimes it’s beautiful to remember… the good but often it may bring up the unwanted as well.
Time moves forward not backward Traveling into the past Roaming through the memories Rummaging through the nuances Is it truly required? Can we try to remember the good Learning to let go unnecessary.
What if storms come when in the middle of the ocean. What if volcanos erupt ,where the shelter is. . What if tsunami sweeps in while relaxing at the beach. What if earth quake shakes the ground underneath.
Human spirit is so strong It will overcome any obstacle that comes in its way. Strong is the will power and grit. Our race has seen all these and much more in the times bygone. Resilience and humanity overpowers all mishaps . We rise from the ashes to build from the scratch. We can make edges bend to make us the path to proceed. Never fall down. Never loose hope. Though life is a struggle We are meant to survive. Our faith and inner light are the anchors. Hope & effort are the oars that steer us forward. Keep moving. Keep winning. For we are meant to survive.
