A calm composed nature
Allows space for response
An agitated mind & heart
Creates room for errors,
Of judgment & misunderstanding.
Patience is a virtue
An undervalued skill
In cultivating patience
You encourage a moment
For reflection before response.
To be patient is an opportunity
To be able to lean into the silence
And glean fresh perspectives.
For every moment is filled with it..
In seeing every moment,
in the journey as a step forward
than a race against time.
Is about cultivating patience.
Creating conscious peace in mindful ways.

An unrealized dream
An unexplored adventure
A challenging adversity
A twist of fortune
An unexpected detour
An unwanted influence
An undervalued feeling
A undermined self-esteem
A slew of slights
A spate of illness
A foreboding feeling
An unfinished business
An unforgivable mistake
An unfortunate moment
All may seem reason enough
But the reality is these are excuses
Remind your life happens.
Time is moving its course
Buck up and reset your path
For you know in your heart
You are enough for you.

Love this quote đź’™
Look up, laugh loud, talk big, keep the color in your cheek and the fire in your eye, adorn your person, maintain your health, your beauty and your animal spirits.
William Hazlitt

Just because you can worry
Doesn’t mean you have to
For there is always a reason to fret
But if you change your attitude
Shift your perspective
If you can meet all that comes up
With a smile from the heart
Things just might fall in place
So keep seeing the good in all
And in yourself
Be the catalyst of change…

Where time ticks onwards too fast
In a rushing world
With no time to stand and stare
The beauty is in the ordinary…Â

In simple sharing,Â
Of a space,
Of a meal ,
Of being with one another
Valuing time spent joyfully
With family & friends
That makes the day magical.

Can I hold my own hand
And close my eyes for a while
And listen to my beating heart
As I still myself and pause.
There is so much to listen in
Body spirit and mind speaks
As it all begins to make sense.
Heart emotes the feelings
Brain thinks the words out
Hopefully logical
Emotionally rational
All it wants is a listening ear
To understand empathicaly
Sensing the harmony
To heal the self
Aligning energy in synchrony.
An evening contemplation.

Love
Those who find love
Don’t bother to nurture it
Love starts losing value..
Children
Those who have many children
Find it challenging to rear them
And then there are those
Who ache for the blessing of a child
Health
Those who are in the pink of health
Take it for granted
And then there are those who want nothing more than the wealth of health.
Wealth
Those who have the means of wealth
Find no meaning in it
And search for a meaningful life
And those who have no means
Are struggling to live each day.
Loss
Those who are grieving
Remember their lost companion
Those who have a partner
Forget there is one.
Despair
Those who are broken
Know the value of living
To acknowledge the life.
In every moment.
Every life is different
Yet such is the irony of life
That often life is lost in living it.
And those who choose to live it lovingly and value the preciousness are truly rare…

So you are angry?
Now what?
Do you think it is helping you ?
For anger never helps
It only hurts .
Here are six things you can do for balancing your emotions and feeling better.
1.Become Aware that you are reacting than responding in your anger is the first step
2.Counting backwards from 20 to 1.
3. Removing yourself from the place you are feeling angry even for a short while by going for a short walk helps settle your emotions.
4. Switch words is a technique to use feeling oriented words to create powerful change of emotions with imagery to manage anger.
For example a positive word like Happy can evoke different feelings.
Or words like ‘take it easy ‘can evoke a sense of ease.
5. Better still is taking to chanting mantras, or hearing your favorite upbeat music , or even Journaling.
6. If nothing else imagining ocean tides in a flow and breathing deeply, in and out even for a few minutes eases the tense body & mind.
Remember to acknowledge your emotions as there is more harm in suppression. As you find healthy pathways to manage your anger, you bring wellbeing into your life

To evolve into a better version of the self…
You incrementally make the moves towards it.
If you sense frustration and angst choose to make sense of where you are in this now…
Are you angry at something beyond your control?
When you realise you cannot change another then be wise to improve yourself.
Be assertive and you will sense confidence.
Choose to be self aware and have the courage to dare to speak for yourself.
You are your best friend, you don’t need anothers validation.
Own your truths. Both strengths and weaknesses. And work on improving your self in conscious ways, step by step .
It all starts with you taking the step.
Would you agree?

Here’s a thoughtworthy share

Air Commodore Vishal was a Jet Pilot. In a combat mission his fighter plane was destroyed by a missile. He however ejected himself and parachuted safely. He won acclaims and appreciations from many.
After five years one day he was sitting with his wife in a restaurant. A man from another table came to him and said “You’re Captain Vishal ! You flew jet fighters. You were shot down!”
“How in the world did you know that?” asked Vishal.
“I packed your parachute,” the man smiled and replied.
Vishal gasped in surprise and gratitude and thought if parachute hadn’t worked, I wouldn’t be here today.
Vishal couldn’t sleep that night, thinking about that man. He wondered how many times I might have seen him and not even said ‘Good morning, how are you?’ or anything because, he was a fighter pilot and that person was just a safety worker”
So friends, who is packing your parachute?
Everyone has someone who provides what they need to make it through the day.
We need many kinds of parachutes– we need the physical parachute, the mental parachute, the emotional parachute, and the spiritual parachute.
We call on all these supports before reaching safety.
Sometimes in the daily challenges that life gives us, we miss what is really important.
We may fail to say hello, please, or thank you, congratulate someone on something wonderful that has happened to them, give a compliment, or just do something nice for no reason.
As you go through this week, this month, this year, recognize the people who pack your parachute.
Happy New Year

The child they say is the father of the man.
Question yourself
How you were as a child…
How was your childhood?
Here is a little self reflection tool in understanding the self.
Think of yourself as a child, what age do you imagine yourself to be in?
Write down words that come to you when you think of your childhood?
Write down people or places that connect with the words you wrote
You will find yourself connecting the dots…
All of the expressed, repressed and suppressed emotions has much to do with who you become as an adult.
Much of what you felt, are feeling as an adult goes back to what you enjoyed or endured as a child..
Nature works with nurture to create your being.
Each of us have evolved from our experiences. Self reflection is a valuable tool to bring to awareness that however easy or difficult the childhood was, understanding that childhood is your past but the present is with you for you to carve. to make your future.
Now the choice rests with you.

The same heart that loves
Hurts some day
The same heart that hurts
Heals some day
The heart is extremely versatile
Capable of being adaptable
Beyond our fears and doubts
Capable of love and hate
And all the shades in between.
From going green with envy
To blossoming like red roses…
Heart beats on its own tune
Take care of the heart
Feed it well
Stay happy and healthy
In good faith and trust.
For life is in the heartbeat.
