To start the day with the beautiful light of nature where ever I am, I know, I carry it in my heart , as it glows from my heart. Its my simple secret in the acknowledgement, that I want the older me to remember.
While poetically speaking, or at theoretical physics, all of life is interconnected
Have you felt like you are strained, exhausted to the point of emptiness?
Have you reached a point of burnout with visible signs of overwhelm?
Have you sensed the strong pull from various directions?
Some from strings you have given yourself a connection to.
Some of which, you are innately connected since you were born.
Do you feel the pressure and need to resist some strings
And have you noticed how you are managing it all?
Have you been able to live your life at all or just simply existing or day to another?
Time for some thought in this direction…
Sharing a thoughtworthy quote from my readings this morning.
“We have a tendency to put ourselves last. We concentrate on everything else; work, friends, family, home issues, but we ignore the deeper stuff until it becomes so compressed that it can explode.” Cecelia Ahem
I ❤️ it for it is a great reminder for all of us.
Self care needs to be considered as a priority practice rather than just a once in a while thing you do.
If we truly care to check in, we can catch the many signs & signals through which our body is already communicating to us.. And how we are dealing with it all.
While being connected is great, we all need some space for reflection. A space to grow from awe and wonder.
A space for stillness in spite of the movements.
Some moments to gather ourselves from where we are to reset ourselves.
Simply bringing the body into movement heals, empowers and brings positive changes in the body in time gradually … but most of all it brings on empathy and a divine connection to the living you and that’s the alluring magnetic charm of a body in blissful motion.
I have often seen the perils of burnout up close in professional and personal life over many years. As a coach and mentor it has been often clearer to me that having the blessing of many interests and hobbies like dance and art and sports in my life, I have steered away from burnout with a perspective shift. It helped balance my work and personal life.
But over the years watching people of all ages moving towards burnout due to many factors some avoidable and sometimes due to relentlessly challenging situations in their lives, occurrence of burnout is a reality sooner than you know.
Workaholics are the worst hit as often as Type A personalities. People in power positions founders challenged by their own hamster wheel climb , running their race, stressed and distressed between the managing and funding of their enterprises. To people who are intrinsically overt perfectionists trying to outdo themselves beyond abilities and suffering physically emotionally and mentally thinking that in doing so they have proved their worth. Likewise young students with extreme pressure from parents to perform well in something that they are not interested in. Have seen cases of students in engineering stream, forced to take it when their heart is in arts and humanities .
The difference is between enjoying the work and overworking is in feeling exhausted by the work you do to such an extent that you cannot connect with your self anymore.
When your passion turns in an obsession,
When you are pushing yourself over the brink without consideration for your own health.
Your absence affects your family When you think you are giving it all, but what you are giving is, stealing a loved ones time with you.
Imbalances you create in your life have a way of finding you and testing your life. Make sure to live life when you have it, with all of you.
With the world getting more and more materialistic and withdrawn and people truly becoming less communicative although connected by technology in every second , the human need to be heard becomes more and more necessary for somewhere it is drowning in the hustle and bustle of an ever busy world.
And as for creative freedom well each every moment offers infinite acreative flow that is awaiting your expression. Choice rests with you what you do with it .
Behold …
There is delight in disorder
There is underlying harmony in the chaos
There is joy in the uncaliberated

Here are six things you can do for balancing your emotions and feeling better.
1.Become Aware that you are reacting than responding in your anger is the first step
2.Counting backwards from 20 to 1.
3. Removing yourself from the place you are feeling angry even for a short while by going for a short walk helps settle your emotions.
4. Switch words is a technique to use feeling oriented words to create powerful change of emotions with imagery to manage anger.
For example a positive word like Happy can evoke different feelings.
Or words like ‘take it easy ‘can evoke a sense of ease.
5. Better still is taking to chanting mantras, or hearing your favorite upbeat music , or even Journaling.
6. If nothing else imagining ocean tides in a flow and breathing deeply, in and out even for a few minutes eases the tense body & mind.
Remember to acknowledge your emotions as there is more harm in suppression. As you find healthy pathways to manage your anger, you bring wellbeing into your life
In the course of my career over the years handling teams of various departments, people management became my forte while experiencing many instances which needed agility in communication.
Here are few pointers…
If you can help it thoroughly prepare yourself with research so that you are prepared to handle any objections well.
Try to choose when and where to have a difficult conversation.
Always start with a positive mindset and speak with concern without blaming .
Make sure you are clear about what you want to communicate. And deliver your stance clearly without any ambiguity.
Speak in the right tone as per the situation.
Listen actively well to acknowledge emotions and understand so you can respond than react.
If there is too much tension or another impasse it is alright to pause, take a short timely break to diffuse tension and then recoup
Be focussed on what you wish to communicate and steer the conversation if it veers off topic.
Be open to alternatives and perspectives and see if you can find common ground to stay flexible to foster collaboration.
To swim and surface Is daring the waves. Like any ocean surfer knows We are all equal before a wave. While you may not be able to control everything And learning curve may be steep You adapt to ride the waves. For waves are a part of the flow In the cycle of life. A wise leader knows the highs and lows Are part of the same flow.
