As humans we are always exploring and discovering possibilities. Sometimes we understand much in no time, and take the right steps, and at other times we mis the bus.
Acknowledge the wins & the misses.
Every step missed is brimming with a lesson.
If we choose to pay attention every failure teaches us something.
On where we want to be,
On how far we are, from where we want to go.
Question is are we ready to acknowledge failure as a part of the learning process?
Every success can be attributed to the many experiences that may have had many lessons and the effort taken to succeed.
And if there is propensity and determination to take the effort, there are many pathways that lead us beyond failure.
I like this saying by Mary Ash, I came across recently which presents a fresh perspective on failure.
‘For every failure, there’s an alternative course of action. You just have to find it. When you come to a roadblock, take a detour.’
Air Commodore Vishal was a Jet Pilot. In a combat mission his fighter plane was destroyed by a missile. He however ejected himself and parachuted safely. He won acclaims and appreciations from many.
After five years one day he was sitting with his wife in a restaurant. A man from another table came to him and said “You’re Captain Vishal ! You flew jet fighters. You were shot down!”
“How in the world did you know that?” asked Vishal.
“I packed your parachute,” the man smiled and replied. Vishal gasped in surprise and gratitude and thought if parachute hadn’t worked, I wouldn’t be here today.
Vishal couldn’t sleep that night, thinking about that man. He wondered how many times I might have seen him and not even said ‘Good morning, how are you?’ or anything because, he was a fighter pilot and that person was just a safety worker”
So friends, who is packing your parachute? Everyone has someone who provides what they need to make it through the day.
We need many kinds of parachutes– we need the physical parachute, the mental parachute, the emotional parachute, and the spiritual parachute. We call on all these supports before reaching safety.
Sometimes in the daily challenges that life gives us, we miss what is really important.
We may fail to say hello, please, or thank you, congratulate someone on something wonderful that has happened to them, give a compliment, or just do something nice for no reason.
As you go through this week, this month, this year, recognize the people who pack your parachute. Happy New Year ❤️
Compassion is a gentle inclusive yet so very powered by its infinite expansiveness. Surrounding the self with compassion circles is a duty to your own soul rather than a selfish act. In a world that is apparently getting overly self-obsessed, conscious compassionate thoughts within will become gradually embedded in the core structure of the being and what is powered from a strong core radiates outwards with the magnitude of faith and strength. Therein lies the success of steering towards peace & humanity through positively uplifting thoughts.
Every compassionate thought that is then spread outwards, will have the strength of its own circles of trust in the boundless infinity of love. Our world needs this in every moment more than we can even imagine. Harness the energies of Compassion that hugs, heals and helps humanise humans.
We are equipped by nature to give and share more than what we perceive we have, just like the abundance of nature our being is infinite in its potential. And in every compassionate share, there is greater regeneration and replenishment. With a deeper integration of compassionate reflections there occurs a transcendence towards universal empathy.
Connect yourself in this chain of compassionate circles and care to reach out from your core outward. .Trust enough to let go care to remember that we are all dancing beings in an exquisite circle of love and light beyond matter. All is well in the lightness of being. Let the connectedness in compassion dance from and through you !
