As writers I am pretty sure many of us can relate to this …
A few thoughts on writing and how it helps me every day.
I write with a sincere heart Honouring the words that flow Feeling the truth of my potential As the waves of thoughts Light my day, along the way… As much as my spirit & soul It’s one of my self care routine To sense & emote and express Without fear or favour. So grateful for the blessings, It gives. 🙏
On writing every day
I have been writing every day for almost a decade now, it has become a well ingrained habit. I thoroughly enjoy my me time. Most days it’s every morning time that I pen my thoughts, but I never force it to a particular time. Someday it’s a joy to write down whenever I feel the inspiration.
AndInspiration is everywhere
I simply started on a lark and what is beautiful is, every day there is always something that inspires the words . And I hope to continue as long as the words flow…
At times just when a coach knows it’s progress the client wants to give up.
They may feel the changes are not enough or there may be other personal factors that may be inhibiting their success. It is important to acknowledge their emotions at the moment and celebrate small wins precisely showing how far they have come. As a coach being empathic & encouraging while being flexible and adaptable as you adjust strategies for the way forward aids and facilitates progress.
Often clients face doubt and overwhelm at some point or the other. It is important then to remind them of their why and guide them to stay on course.
So a long long time ago when I started sharing my writing skills, I received a beautiful message from a reader, who also introduced Thomas Merton, the poet & monk to me. I was intrigued by his words. And went on to read more. For back then I didn’t know who Thomas Merton was and had never heard or come across his works.
This morning I came across the above quote, another gem of a quote from the mystical light of this soul…
There are some souls whose works strike a deep chord without ever meeting them… you sense a connection in their words..
I am grateful in all humility to have come across the profoundness of these kindred spirits. 🙏
Life hands many a tough lessons in our journeys. But to strive to be strong and tread through it all, not just by surviving the ordeals but thriving takes inner strength in conviction. It helps to focus on your sense of purpose if you have deciphered it by now, else take each moment as momentary. Know the pain you feel in this now will be gone in the next. This attitude takes you on a spiritual path of letting go. It makes a profound impact in life as you continue to practise regularly. Regardless of outcomes you are thriving…in Gratitude for the lessons from life in the living.🙏
