On Legacy 

On Leaving a legacy …

A life lived in expression of one’s passion

A life lived in dedication and devotion.

A life lived sensing the spirit of being alive.

A life spent enriching others as much as ones own.

A life lived like that is ever blessed in grace

For wherever the soul resides

It is always shining in eternal light.

Had written these verses on hearing an account of the journey of a life well lived …. nurturing a life of goodness and  generating goodwill .

Feel compelled to share this with my readers and ask what would you think is a true legacy? … and  most importantly have you seen or influenced by someone following such a path upclose.

On Seeing beyond the looking!

Swedish Political Leader, Secretary General Of The United Nations

   These  above words may spell success or  be a recipe for disaster depending on the ability to keep the focus on that which you see!

  The acceptance of the manifold possibilities  of seeing beyond looking  could be the very reason for expansive outreach of potential in world affairs and resolutions whether it is a matter of peace or war. Having said so, solutions are in the emergence of a stream of consciousness in awareness of a meeting point in the melting pot from convergence to transcendence. An approach that is inclusive in temperament and expansive in the envisioning.

  Truth be told , we have travelled on far in time  and space and as we stand today, the realisation of the infinity  of consciousness beyond the horizons is well set already.  It is just a matter of  probability on where our sights are, as we envision our path beyond  and how it resonates in our awareness as it takes flight. 

   Speaking of flight unto beyond there is much going on before from take off  between the spreading of wings  and the flapping in flight. Would a bird be able to fly if its sight is fixated on the ground. Would the ship be able to sail  of to distant lands  and explore if it keeps itself safe harboured along the shores…. Its no wonder indeed that to fly  and explore the unknown you must first be ready to let go of the ground beneath your feet.

   In the same breath the awareness of when to take the flight  and where and how to land back  and find the balance on the high ground  is a task of a lifetime to master.

  So between the focussed planner of details and the far sighted idealist visionary…there are many paths  to envision, where do you see yourself ?

  Or are you the more cautious realist who weighs your options before every step?

Ride the wave of passion 

Ride the waves in perseverance 

Ride the waves of purpose 

Ride the waves in patience 

Ride the waves in equanimity 

Ride the waves in understanding 

Ride the waves of peace 

Ride the waves of love 

Ride the waves of joy 

Ride the waves of contentment 

And success will tide in your way 

Strive not just the pinnacle but progression 

As the next step is a downfall  in one but 

evolution in other!
The tipping point is on the top of things 

But life is a game of choices in the making 

Whether uphill and downhill the trick 

Is in tiding and riding through the waves.

Experience every moment in all its dimensions.

 If you cling to just one moment you can’t experience it all

 And if you are not living with awareness you would not be living it at all.

Black and white photography 

An art form for a connoisseur

Aesthetics  of understanding

Of  the clarity of line

That plays hide and seek 

So much resemblance

 To the wisdom of time.

In seeking is the blending 

Of reflections dissolving 

Ever so hard to pin down 

Faded visions  blurred memories 

Reminding of colour through our senses

Perspectives differ in the past recalled 

Comparisions translucent in the semi presence.

 

An important feature 

Are the shades of grey 

Areas masked and marked,

Blurring to focus 

Uncaliberated and undeliberated 

Between the lines  

Adding enigma 

Surreal feelings 

A take back in time

Of notions in nostalgia.

Just walk with me.

Not before, not after, just walk with me.

Says time,

If you have ever felt too overwhelmed,

If you have felt down,

If you have felt a bit off key,

If you have felt life to be unfair

I have just the answer to help you,

And it is very simple, too.

As only time can tell you,

Not before, not after, just walk with me.

All our miseries and misunderstandings

Stem from our lack of time management.

The solution is no secret at all.

The answer is in walking with this very now.

Chase not time of the past;

It’s gone for a reason now.

And stop wondering about and living in the future

For happiness is in this now that you nurture.

Walk in this now in time;

Tune into its current frequency;

Listen to it gratefully;

And live it well and wholeheartedly.

Allow the worries to fade into the past

As you cannot worry for what is gone.

Allow the future to manifest in course

As you cannot hurry time by force.

All is fine as it truly is.

All is well as it’s meant to be

In the realm of times

Between the you and the me.

So as only time can truly tell,

Walk with me.

Not before and not after,

Walk with me in this now.

Illusions in the reflections 

Reflections in the stillness

On a patch of water

Reflections of sunlight

On a passing cloud

Reflecting colours

We humans have named…

The truth of clarity

Is the freedom in the uncertain

Was watching the reflections of sunlight dancing on this patch of water on the window sill of my terrace one evening. I was mesmerized by the fleeting cloud it had captured and its amazing colours that held my fancy for a long while…

What seems to be, may not be

What is, may be not

What is apparent, may be invisible

What is assumption, may become a contradiction

Or simply delusions of our own imagination.

Or simply a clarity of illusions in the reflections.

On thankfulness


Wonderful word in every language  

Some expressions manifest abundance 

Remember to use them whenever necessary 

And it is often necessary as each cannot do without the other. We are all living an  interdependent life after all.

‘Thank you ”

 A thank you means a lot …

 A recognition of your action 

An appreciation of your effort

An acknowledgement of humanity 

An assurance of  a job well done

A gratitude of attitude in the being 

A sense of value of anothers deed 

A strength of goodwill  in our life.

An expression of politeness 

In the acceptance or refusal

Of the offer in question….
So today I take this opportunity to first of all thank my readers and friends who have supported me in my journey of writing  and continue to do so … I do believe our strength is rooted in these interconnects built and envisioned in wordshares. In fact many a times even though we may have never met we literally can trust ourselves in reading the person like a book… such is the power of a heartfelt share💙

  And secondly like I always say writing is a pleasure and reading is a joy I want to thank my fellow writers for their wonderful blogs, amazing contributions and inspiring shares. 

 So very thankful for this journey of ours as writers… A never ending road in creativity.

On Philosophy & Science

Philosophy speaks from the core of consciousness of life, with a penchant for understanding the wisdom of being. And natural science was simply born of a philosophy that speaks of predictions and evidence. Of reasons and proofs. But science is limited as scientific reasoning cannot justify all the knowing in the sensing, and in the intuitivity.

One is a a matter of sensing and knowing
Another a matter of proof of the existing.

I believe there is much to draw and understand for both from each other as both are integral to opening the doors of awareness in receptivity with respect in the strength of their interconnects.

In the centre of placid calm stands an angel of hope and resilience.

She has birds of hope surrounding her haloed presence.

Be like the lady on the tree.

In the stillness of the water… sensing your spirit feel so free,

Climb the tree in the serenity of the calm and unwind.

Bring composure to the cursory mind.

Move away from the mundane.

And feel more humane.

See the birds dancing by your side,

Singing their sweet songs of hope that will always reside!

Tread gently and softly move

In your journey as you find your groove.

Climb that tree and rest awhile.

Witness the water silently settle.

Renew your spirit and discover your mettle.

Delve in the solitude, seeking the clarity in the calm, unbound

As in still waters run deep, the wisdom profound.

There is a kind of hush


There is a kind of hush…

up in the mystical mountains nestled in the green lush

A fairy tale like feeling in this enticing place somewhere

An idyllic haven of blues and greens in the middle of nowhere

Speaks softly to that place in the heart that I treasure

It is abound with bliss and bounties of nature

Crystal clear waters reflecting the canopy of green

The falling leaves witness to this mystical scene

Glowing in the gilded light from above

Could only come from a place of true love

enveloped in a kind of magic that fills the air

Captivating and conjuring, beauty beyond compare

Chaos to Clarity


From the depth of chaos is a cry

When the spirit of living weakens.                                                    

The hearts unwavering faith to question why?                                 

That answers lie in this moment,arise to awaken.

Know the confusion is temporary

Just as noises are transient and momentary

While the reality may unsettle

Trust the self to align and resettle

 Seek the balance that  is the need                                                                      

Of this moment pay heed.

To de stress and displace

Every testing thoughts, as you bow to grace

And dare to move with times

See how Salvation  sublimes…

Broken spirits  in lieu

And mends hearts  anew

Just remember the light of being

Will always show the way of seeing

Just  a heartfelt  message                                                                                          

To send out hope to the world at large

 To trust and believe there is deliverance                                                           

Of care beyond the deepest torments

Of light beyond the darkest hour                                                                          

Of peace beyond the bloodshed and war

Of hope  beyond destruction amd despair                                                        

Just these mere words I share

As prayers to reach out with an affirmation                                                    

For life will ensure its resurrection 

Gloom will lift to glory                                                                                              

And melancholy will shift away.

As time turns its wheel beyond the pathos                                                                

To clarity beyond the chaos.
