Live Life Lovingly!

Words

There is much energy in words.

Good or not so good

For instance…

What someone says about you

Is not about you

As much as it is a reflection

Of who they actually are.

Words carry their weight in the colours of emotions they manifest.

Sometimes thoughtless words said in moments of despair or loss  creates rifts and regrets for a lifetime

The words said is heavier than you know, for it can live on in eternity In the heart and mind of another soul.

Think twice before you speak.

Think well. Speak well

Live in the lightness of being

What is the colour of your thoughts today ?

Question yourself

Am I thinking well?

If I were to choose a colour

What colour would my thoughts  be in this now?

Are my feelings cold or warm?

Are my emotions overflowing or in balance.

Is my spirit shackled or free?

Are my thoughts racing or calming?

Your answers will speak to you,

Of your state of being.

If ever you feel the need to introspect and self regulate you can use these questions that came to me today to do a self check, as to where you are placed in this spectrum of life in the now.

Writing here every day on WordPress has drawn many readers who have messaged me their challenges and it is a privilege to connect, meet and also coach some of them.

As a writer and a life coach, I have been intentionally motivating with my thoughts over the years. I find joy in writing my heart out and yet be able to empower myself and my readers with positive thoughts.  I believe it makes a difference and I hope to continue making these small yet positive impacts through my works, be it  through art or words.

Feel free to share colours of your thoughts today here.

And I hope you have a beautiful  time wherever in the world you are.

Evolving with the changes

Wisdom continues to evolve

As change is the only constant

Knowing is never enough

Discerning knowledge with application makes all the difference.

Age of Aquarius

Some see it as the Age of the Aquarius, a dawn of enlightenment, but it is also a sign of changing times when there is greater access to knowledge and increased interest in holistic & spiritual practices and greater receptivity & awareness of values of empathy compassion and collaboration and therein interconnections.

Speaking of technology its transformations, while we are better informed, the human aspect of intuitive and ethical considerations play a significant role in understanding and application of this new age wisdom.

Now, this rise of a new age of wisdom could also mean more inclusive and divergent thinking in a more conscious and enlightened world.

The question then is, what resonates within and what we choose to do with it.

CUPS OF TIME

The King and the Weaver

One day, a king went hunting. On his journey, he stayed overnight at the house of a weaver who lived along the way. The weaver and his family did not know that their guest was the king. They assumed he was just a hunter and offered him a place to stay.

The next morning, when the king woke up, he saw the weaver starting his work. The weaver had a rope tied to his left hand. Curious, the king asked, “What is that rope tied to your hand?”

The weaver replied, “This rope is to rock the cradle. If the baby cries, I pull this rope to soothe it.”

The king then noticed a long stick near the weaver and asked, “What is this stick for?”

The weaver said, “My wife has spread grains outside to dry in the sun. I’ve tied a black flag to the other end of this stick. When I wave it, birds don’t come near the grains.”

The king also saw small bells tied around the weaver’s waist and asked, “What are these bells for?”

The weaver explained, “We have a mouse in the house. When it comes near, I shake these bells, and it runs away.”

The king then noticed a few children standing outside the weaver’s house and asked, “What are they doing there?”

The weaver replied, “While weaving, I teach them whatever I know. They listen to my lessons from outside.”

The king asked, “Why don’t you let them inside?”

The weaver answered, “Their ears are here to listen to the lessons, but I also make them knead the mud in front of the house with their feet while listening. This way, they learn and help at the same time.”

The king was amazed at how the weaver managed so many tasks simultaneously. The weaver added, “That’s not all. My wife is a Greek woman. Every day, she writes ten Greek words on a slate for me to learn. While working, I also practice those words.”

The weaver demonstrated that if one desires, it is possible to learn, teach, work, and take care of the household all at once. His diligence left the king astonished.

I received this story in Tamil but since I wanted to share across this here, this is an AI translation.

There is so much to understand and interpret  from this….

Here are my thoughts on this…

Cups of time…

If there is will & dedicated intent

Much can be accomplished.

Our life is a precious gift

So much to discover & learn from

And there is so much for each of us to do.

Let’s fill the cups of time

Doing the best we can

Let’s never waste our life away…

That is the way to thrive.

What are your thoughts on this story?

You Beyond Fear

Often expectations become a burden.

For it gets imposed without realization.

Creating fear for change

Fear  chains you in restrictions

Learn to unshackle your being.

You have one life

Think of life like a new book

That is meant to be written by you

Make sure you hold the pen

And do not give it away

Live beyond your fear

For life is what you make of it.

Are you feeling lonesome and blue?

Are you lonely and perhaps  feeling lost?

Are you afraid of being lonely?

Loneliness is a silent killer.

Not easy to deal with. It can catch  you when you are least aware. And it may seem challenging with the changing season.

Every person alive might have to battle it in different  degrees one time or another  in their lifetime .

Often it may be, the fear of ending up alone that people make wrong personal choices.

Often those very choices are the reason one feels lonely.

For there are times you can be feeling lonely in a room full of people.

Sometimes you have a life partner but feel there is no true companionship.

Sometimes you are actually alone with nobody around and hence feel lonely.

Circumstances may be different  and varied for every one but the condition is one, of being lonely.

There is a thoughtworthy words I read, that comes to mind on loneliness.

Loneliness is the poverty of the self

Solitude is the richness of the self.

Now that changes the perspective doesn’t it .

What you envision your life, life becomes, such is the power of visualization and intention.

No matter where you are or who you are with,

Remember, you are never truly lonely if you flip the script…

Think you have you

Value the life you have

You are alive as yet

And you are enough for you.

Life & living

My 80 plus father and I were having a nice conversation this morning. I asked him, what is the difference between your generation and today?

What did you all have then that today that we don’t have today?
He said it in one line:  Freedom of time. It’s so true.
Today’s world is fully connected but caught in the web of it’s own doing.
Today everything is caught on camera.
No one is truly free.
Whether at work or after,.. your work follows you .You are always available  and connected even when you travel…
Life is actually more complicated with all these so called devices of technology.

Even simple joys of life are difficult to experience for lack of time.
No one is truly free.
Chained to the machines of their own making…

In the name of Work from home  and work life balance, we are getting  more work home that there is no downtime. Weekends  no longer feel different.  All are in  a rat race in time.  Until we mutually  agree and consciously  think of taking time out and act on it , life seems to fall into a rut of routine  that we forget  we are meant to live and not just exist .

The way we see the world

Changes our experiences.

Lesser expectations

Greater contentment

Lesser assumptions & doubt

Greater trustfulness

Lesser hopelessness

Greater possibility

Lesser the complexity

Greater the clarity.

How do you see the world?

Manifesting Abundance

I walk across the golden sands,

Leaving footsteps of my of my memories

Flowing in faith across the lands

Celebrating life in the moments.

I sense something limitless

As I dare to share, the truth of me.

I touch the truth of my potential.

Abundance manifesting itself.

Nostalgia

A throwback…

I have fond memories of black and white photographs taken by my dad in his old box camera. The three pictures that I can quickly recollect are a representation of my world back in the era of black and white. Be it watching the swaying coconut trees and the shimmering water on moonlit nights, or the artistry of those antique time pieces collected by my grandfather and of course those lively evenings in my childhood years, where the old gramophone would play so invitingly that we would all be waltzing and jiving away to evergreen hits. Yes nostalgia filled me in those verses, but with happy memories.

Black and white photography

An art form for a connoisseur

Aesthetics of understanding

Of the clarity of line

That plays hide and seek

So much resemblance

To the wisdom of time.

In seeking is the blending

Of reflections dissolving

Ever so hard to pin down

Faded visions blurred memories

Reminding of colour through our senses

Perspectives differ in the past recalled

Comparisons translucent in the semi presence.

An important feature

Are the shades of grey

Areas masked and marked,

Blurring to focus

Uncaliberated and undeliberated

Between the lines

Adding enigma

Surreal feelings

A take back in time

Of notions in nostalgia.

Oneness

In the journey of life

At one point or the other

In arriving to acknowledge our truths

Comes a realization of our Oneness

Of how we are mere living fractals of life and longings.

We are simply waves of light frequencies of resonance & dissonance.

Dancing to the tunes of the Cosmic Oneness

Musical Greats

Author Douglas Adams describes the  three stalwarts of music…  “Beethoven tells you what it is like to be Beethoven and Mozart tells you what it’s like to be human. Bach tells you what it’s like to be the universe.”

Interesting quote with so much said in just a line on the three gifted geniuses and their world of  music.

Although considered  to be a revolutionary  its always beautiful to enjoy the music of  Beethoven and his magical Moonlight Sonata and  Symphony no 5.

The melodious music of Mozart  is remarkable  for  his amazing  pace and harmony and balance of light and dark tones of life  with a humanistic touch in musical  themes.

The spiritually profound music of Bach reflects his deep faith in God and his inate intellectuality. Known to have deeply influenced  Mozart,  Bach was a prolific musician having  composed more than thousands of musical  pieces in his lifetime.

Beyond the self

The world around  us

Is interacting all the time

The way we choose

Becomes us.

And each of our choices

Through our intentions

Becomes deeds of our doing.

It’s all in us

In the thinking and intending

For the good of all

Beyond the self.

Quality of the Spirit

What to speak of charisma

That some have as an aura…

A way of being , a radiance

More than just their attitude

Or the way the carry themselves

A quality of the spirit of the soul

That magnetic quality beyond the physicality

That emanates joy and well being in Abundance

Without a single word…

Would you  know someone  like that?

Who comes to your mind?
