Was watching this lamp in my above photograph, hanging in the room, emitting a gentle glow all around and sensed how similar we are to this lamp…. we often switch off ourselves from sensing our own inner light of being and assume momentary chaos and confusion of darkness to be a permanent situation. A lit lamp is truly a beautiful reminder to our self to sense the light of our own being.
There are times in every ones life which make us wonder how to live through another moment. Moments of utter chaos and confusion without a semblance of connect with the world at large . It may have a trigger of events in association from physical social to mental and psychological but the crux of the matter is that we all face them and can get through them in one way or another .
And strange are the ways of blessings too … A shoulder to lean on suddenly appears, a person to unload our issues materializes out of nowhere , a friend may call from times goneby, a causual conversation leads to great insights , a simple cure is learnt for a chronic illness, or a tough day clears the fog off our own sight as we see the blessings in plenty manifesting itself in front of us in so many unassuming ways .
Delight or disgust for nature and its ways is a personal prerogative depending on our attitude and circumstances. However what can create and bring positive transformations is training the mind and heart to see the blessing in everything and learning to breathe easy while sensing the abundance thrive in the being’.
Is the intentional shift called a conscious choice.

Sharing these reflections written a year ago when I was living in the city of Mumbai where hearts are big but living spaces small like any other bustling city. I have moved on to a much greener city and today it is truly a blessing that my terrace opens out to a protected patch of forestland and I often find myself refreshingly awakened early morning, hearing the cheer of the chirping birds .
On a rainy day I can often find a peacock perched happily on the branch of the nearby trees. Seeing the joy in the flight of these birds and at times getting lucky to catch a sight of delightful murmuring of birds in the horizon definitely makes my evenings truly enthralling. Savvy
