The road of learning

Every cup has a purpose.

In between moments of a frantic day 

Or the restlessness of boredom

Its nice to settle in with a cup of your favourite  beverage.

If not for anything else

Just to pause and gather yourself

It creates a space to ponder

And reflect in wonder

At times it even sparks an idea

Almost out of nowhere

In the association of thoughts

In the camaraderie shared

Every sip seems to soothe

Now think of life too this way

The ingredients  of a good life

Is the concoction of your choices.

The River Within

There is a river within

That is flowing

On its own path

Coursing through the veins

Drawing from the souls well.

The well of the infinite

Unfolds many a paths

For the river to take

The river chooses its way

To flow on…

There is strength of the flow

In the movements

In supporting the body.

There is a journey onwards

Birthed in feelings

We begin to identify with words

In the pages of the books we read

It starts to make sense

To connect us with ourselves

For a fleeting moment at times

Or it makes us linger on

For it takes us places & spaces

That matters much to us

Somewhere in our hearts 💕

Somewhere in our mind

We know a good book

We appreciate the substance

We allow the words we read

To touch of thoughts

To influence our life

It makes a difference

Stringing words

I came across a set of some very fancy words today …

And I immediately couldn’t resist  finding the string of connection in them.

It all began, having a little reverie
Laying at early dawn, sensing the peiskos.
With open French windows
It was a gentle, zephyr morning
My heart was in a fika state.
Feeling the munificience
my thoughts were aliferous
As a philocalist of nature
It felt as if there was redemancy from nature
In the querencia of my being.

I enjoyed  this little creative writing practice for today.

Yes,I must add some of these words were completely new to me that I checked their meanings. And some I have come across earlier . 

I have highlighted all the words .If you enjoy this, feel free to string your own versions of verses incorporating  all these words and share them below. Would love to read.

Art of creativity
Is to acknowledge
The flow of possibilities
Shaping seemingly
Lifeless matter
To birthing life in art

Requires trustfulness
Needs effort and focus
And ability to adapt
A willingness to attempt
Acceptance of errors
And perseverance to go on
To the shifting perspectives
In creative associations
Adding curiousity of a child
Of awe, wonder & joy.

To train the self
Body mind & spirit
To think like a creator
Is to acknowledge in confidence
That within us rests
Possibilities in potential
Of infinite creative capabilities.
