Yet, as you persevere on, with a beginners mindset
No matter what and where life takes you…
You find your own strengths
Unfolding new paths & possibilities.
Beginnings challenge the best of us. Not all is rosy and easy…especially the beginning, all over again.
I was thinking of how important it is to imbibe the beginners mindset, the one that is passionately earnest and yet humble in patience & perseverance to bend and not break….that makes it an art of new beginnings.
When the odds stack high, .When our visions are not far enough,When the road ahead seems blocked,When we are at our wits’ endWhen we are at cross with destinyIt shakes hand with us.As it has planned aheadA reciprocal arrangementThat opens a new path,A new vision appears.Nothing ends,A new beginning starts.Hope is here to stay. This poem aims to reflect the dawn, by beginning slowly to depict the stillness that precedes the dawn and like an inhale, generate the light building up to dawn and then accelerate to the brilliance of sunshine… hope you enjoy reading it.
What’s different about you, after the storm ? Are you hardened and toughened by it ? Or are you more humane, compassionate and gentler as a human after the storm ?
It all depends on you And how you choose to perceive it.
Perhaps the storm teaches you to steel the self
And create a self preservation shield from such experiences.
On the other hand it could make you more alive to life and the preciousness of now.
As you choose to live and love the life you have left than simply exist in the moments. ✨️

This post actually was inspired by a comment from my dear friend on WordPress over the years and most of all, a truly empowered and brilliant author Maggie Watson.
Her comment made me stop and think of how much even a mention of the word,’ Storm’ can conjure up. And how much those who have survived it may be feeling … each of these bravehearts may have a different tale to tell.
Yet the truth is their heart beats to the preciousness of this now.
Storms have a way of playing with our life even when they have long subsided. The brewing storm in our thoughts and dreams may seem fearful yet they also bring perspective to empower ourselves.
I write these verses inspired by the reading the title and verses of this poem, this morning. Thank you 🙏 poeticmobility.
And the image here is from my Ai artwork collections, for I somehow feel it belongs here as well.
