Fruits of nature

To cultivate plants and trees

Is a labour of love

Definitely not for the impatient.

For nature takes it’s own time.

But in the yield is another story

Of the manifestation of joy’s untold

Or of disappointment in expectations.

For nature may have so many reasons

The harvest differs in every season

Sometimes there is a bounty

At times there may be scarcity.

But effort must go on, in hopefulness

No matter the produce and the yield

Quite like life, learning from the lessons

You must go on, you cannot tarry back!
