A thoughtful read I just had to share
Luxuries Redefined!?
In the 60s a Car was a luxury.
In the 70s a Television was a luxury.
In the 80s a Telephone was a luxury.
In the 90s a Computer was a luxury…
Luxury is no longer going on a Cruise and eating food prepared by a renowned Chef.
Luxury is eating fresh organic food grown in your own backyard.
Luxury is not having an elevator in your house.
Luxury is your ability to climb 3-4 stories of Stairs without difficulty.
Luxury is not the ability to afford a huge refrigerator.
Luxury is the ability to eat freshly cooked food 2-3 times a day.
Luxury is not having a home theatre system and watching the Himalayan Expedition.
Luxury is physically experiencing the Himalayan Expedition!.
Luxury is not getting treatment from the most expensive hospital in the USA!.
So what is a Luxury now!?
Being Healthy, being Happy, being in a Happy Marriage, having a loving Family, being with Loving friends, living in an unpolluted Place!
All these things have become rare.
And these are the real
“Luxuries” of 2021!!

i Received For that
Promotion Was
A Computer Screen
in A Corner Office With
Oh NO! No Window to the
Great Outdoors of Nature
Breathing Colors RiSinG Green
With Fall Shades
Wintering
Spring Green
And Summer
FLoWeRS AGAiN
My Goodness it Didn’t
Seem Like a Raise At All
In Fact i Felt Homeless All
Day Without the Ability to
At least See Something More than
A Dead Screen in Front of my Face
True For Decades Before i Served The
Heaven of 100’s Of Human Beings Face
to Face Each Day With SMiLes to Help
Them Enjoy A ReCReaTiON Of Life
When Machine Life Almost
Destroyed me
i Remember
Sitting in my
BackYard Facing
The South And Miles
to the Gulf of Mexico Wondering
How i Could Serve Humans Again
Without Being in the Office of A Twilight
Zone With No Real Connection to Breathing Nature
And Then i Found Song Through Free Verse Poetry
And Then i Found Words With Breath of Organic
Feelings And Senses Through And Through
i Lost Effective Use of Eyes and
Ears then Yet my Soul
Returned in Winds
Of Poetry
my Blood
FLoWeD With
More Than Empty
Shells Scattered on A Beach
And Then Came Free Dance
And Song Continues FLoWinG
As Waves Upon Ocean Whole Water
my FRiEnD
