Of a space,

Of a meal ,

Of being with one another

Valuing time spent joyfully

With family & friends

That makes the day magical.

On coexistence & safe spaces

So we have been keeping a food bowl and water bowl for the hungry and thirsty birds in our terrace garden.

I have  seen some occasional birds come in to drink but every day there is a family of squirrels who somehow have made their feeding zone.

So this morning I chanced upon a pigeon carefully perched on the edge of the bowl watching the surrounding environment…

Apprehension & trepidation are the words that comes up when I saw this lone bird feeding for the first time. So much fear and anxiety before dipping her beak into the bowl. So unlike our regular daredevil squirrels dashing into the bowl, this one was mighty cautious and careful and yet so very graceful in her ways…
Watching her I sensed how much she values her freedom. And how much she is relying on her wings to take off at any moment and fly free.
After all in every life, the spirit of freedom aspires to live & fly free in safety, peace & liberation.
Here’s to creating safe spaces for life to coexist, thrive and flourish.

Grateful

A shift in perspective

In feeling thankfulness

In sensing appreciation

In seeing the glass half full than half empty

In seeing the sunny side of things than as partly cloudy

The way of seeing is a choice in our hands

Natural involuntary effects

An increase in dopomine

Sense of satisfaction

A boost in sertonin

Feeling of positivity

A practice of seeing all things with a positive attitude makes life more meaningful

Gratitude makes us recognize and value things we already have even more. That is how it brings a sense of abundance.

Seeing the positive side, focusing on the good in life journaling regularly and being thankful

Every day a practice of gratitude could include a variety of things that may feel right to you.

And of course you will have unexpected serendipitous moments that you  can’t help feeling grateful for…

Today morning as I stepped to my terrace garden I saw a beautiful squirrel  enjoying the food bowl and water bowl I have placed on the ledge there for birds. I watched with joy and happiness as this little guy munched and munched.

Feeling grateful for a great start my day… Feeling thankful the squirrel is feeding. Hope he is able to feed here every day.

Gratefulnness is a beautiful attitude with lasting effects through the day. Cultivate the attitude of Gratitude.
