Fame is the shadow of passion standing in light
Kahlil Gibran
When a good deed
A noble act
Invokes fame
Fame stays on…
Entrenched in light of goodwill.
Embedded in that light
Passion perseveres.
Such a fame is worth experiencing…
And yet there is always a price to fame
While fame brings glory
It also brings expectations along
To live up to … for a lifetime.
There is loss of privacy
As you sway into the limelight
Being in the public eye can be daunting
There can be a loss of personal freedom.
Even though it creates opportunities
For it presents platforms
As it changes equations.
As it builds reputation.
Thoughts go on the desire for fame.
Even tbough there is a price to fame
Or would one choose the world of obscurity?
What are your thoughts on fame?
Do share.
