You can try holding on to love

It’s beautiful to be held in its sway

But doubt you can hold it

For its a feeling, an emotion

That you sense and embrace

You can bond with it

But not clasp, or latch on to

So get a grip on yourself

Think of love as freedom

To be all that you can be.

Love is free

Likewise to the air

You breathe it

But cannot hold it

It has to be set free

And in allowing it to flow

It sets you free

To sense its presence.
