Hurricane Ivan took Down The Giant Oak Tree in my Backyard
A Gift that grounded me to Nature back in 2004 as the Storms
of my Reality continued to Grow
All that Was Left of that Lifeline
to Nature a Stump seemingly
The Tree gone forever
then suddenly a Twig
my Wife insisted on
removing it usually with
Yes Dear The Tree meant
too much so i Insisted Let the Twig Live
And It Did and it Flourished and it Flourished
And Now in 2026 It is More Beautiful than ever before
for this is what
Life does best
