Live Life Lovingly!

The truth of it all!

Sifting through layers of life

To arrive at the truth of it all.

You have to pass through many stages.

There will be the lure of enticements

There will be the spell of bewitchments

There will be beguiling colours

That seem to hold your senses in rapture.

But if you truly wish to witness

The truth amidst the facades

You will notice the simplest clues

That were always there right before you

Just that you never noticed

Like as often truth is taken for granted

In the arresting sights that enthrall.

Choose to see beyond the facades

You will touch base with the truth of it all.

Interestingly the thoughts that resulted in this post came from mangoes actually. As my thoughts were on how we as consumers are sold chemically ripened fruits like mangoes and bananas rampantly.

Here is simple way I came across to test chemically ripened mangoes which I also tried at home … Just take a large bowl of water and try to immerse the mangoes in it. Watch what happens…

Apparently only the chemically ripened mangoes float in water and the others rest at the bottom .

The bigger mango is floating and the smaller one is resting at the bottom.

Trying to understand a little more I chanced upon this clip below.

This is a great link share on the same subject. Of sifting through the fakes!!!

Watch “How to find out- Organic Mangoes vs chemical treated Mangoes” on YouTube

We are sadly in a world without ethical practices in businesses. We need to find ways to sustain our world . It begins with each of us. As each step to change for better and find solutions starts with understanding the issues up close.

If any of you have experiences or tips on how to find out the artificially ripened fruits do care to share.

Hope it helps to spread awareness.

  1. Great, my dear friend 🙂
Truth lies hidden in the things – we need our power of discrimination, fine, sublime power to differentiate between fake/lies and the truth…
Have a great day, my friend 🙂

  2. Wonderful!!!

Lairs twist life so it’s tasty to the lazy
Powerful to the weak and crazy

    Brilliant and seductive to the
    ignorant youth
But even in pain, there is beauty in the truth

Even a tiny bit of deceit is dishonorable
For only cowards lie selfishly without preamble

As lies only strengthen a liar’s defects
A liar’s character, mind, & spirit gains no positive affects

The abuser of the truth paints with disappearing colors
Valuing the canvass at worthless dollars

For once the veil of the facade is lifted
Honesty, integrity and trust can never be re-gifted.

    Unhappy are the takers
    Or why else be fakers?

But to devastate the essence of the believer
Measures the cruelty of the deceiver

    Inner peace with self deception
Is the doing of one’s own soul’s destruction

    However if truth be told
    When lies gradually unfold,

Is it better to be the believer
    Or the deceiver?

Cné – If Truth Be Told

    Have a nice day Savvy!!!

  4. Profound poem, Savvy and yes everything is a fraud and we are eating all bad things from fruits, to vegetables and you name it. We have to clean everything properly before eating.

  7. i feel one solution would be to revisit our eating habits and think twice what we eating is really required or not…particularly the foods which we know are detrimental to health…but still we ahead consuming it because of peer pressure, temptations etc.

I have written on this in one of my posts: https://rajinikanthv.wordpress.com/2019/04/08/conversation-027-money-lifestyle-and-ultimate-purpose/

  11. True ones. Best ripen ones you must try from Philippines most of the times and always as they have strict regulation to harvest Mango only after full 159 days so they have best taste. Thailand Malaysia and India agriculturists harvest 120 days plus and use many methods to ripe and who ever ate only knows the fun of eating junk fruits with high price.

    • Actually reading your comment I am reminded of the times when I was a kid I have had my fill of the sweetest organic mangoes, picked directly from the mango farms that my maternal family used to own . Now the farms are all sold and we are forced to buy our mangoes. Interesting to read about these regulations. Thank you.

      • You are welcome. Now a days what we eat organic wrapped in recycled plastic and hidden poisonous chemicals and innocents pay huge and get ripped off greatly even on health. We must know where we buy and what we buy carefully.
Happy week end. By the way last year when I was in Mumbai I got a box full of Ratnagiri delicious Mango looked great but never been sweet now I remember to comment. Thanks for the answer and appreciate smiles always Savvy🌿

  12. Yes you are right! There is much to be considered in the so called organic food as well. Marketing gimmicks and packaging ways are hugely influential in people buying them. Yes the Ratnagiri Alfanso Mangoes are very famous.
Wish you a lovely weekend my friend. 🌿🙂🌿
