“An imprint of you, I am, As much as the souls before”. These two last lines summarizes your whole poem that is so beautifully written on souls that are all One and the pictures that says it all. Lovely post, dear Savvy.
Poetry at its best ! Touching thoughts of one soul to other ! I always wonder how words flow spontaneously from you ! Lesser mortals like me struggle even putting up a simple sentence leave alone proper expression!
This picture speaks much indeed!
When it came my way I actually expressed only that which came first in my heart… felt so much is left unsaid yet! Thank you for your kind words of appreciation…
At times it is a struggle for us all to reflect and express what is in our thoughts and at others words flow as if they were supposed to and know when to pause as well.
After all there is always more than words can tell. 🙂🙏
are you referring to that one individual who has inspired the most…
But…
I am As much as the souls before…this is beautiful…we are all one and the same at the beginning…it is the life that we have lived and living makes what we are…
My maternal grandfather was a very joyful, simple, uncomplicated and gentle soul who passed away a couple of years ago.
The picture of those aged hands reminded me of him . He has many grandchildren. I simply penned my thoughts on a child seeking the wisdom of life from a well lived soul.
Thank you for your kind compliment.
Thank you for your kind and generous words. Sometimes elders teach us the way of life simply by being the way they are. No lessons in imposition or compliance …And that leaves everlasting impressions of their being.
