SOUL TO SOUL

Soul to soul,

Heart to heart

Speaks one to another.

I am another you,

One soul to another.

I am an extension

Of your own love of Life.

I seek your blessings.

I seek your knowledge.

I seek your wisdom.

I seek your strength.

Ingrained in the sands of time,

You have experience in living life

That I have none.

I begin with what you give.

Your thoughts, your intentions,

Your belief and faith

Interweave in mine

To carve this new life.

An imprint of you I am

As much as the souls before.

  4. Poetry at its best ! Touching thoughts of one soul to other ! I always wonder how words flow spontaneously from you ! Lesser mortals like me struggle even putting up a simple sentence leave alone proper expression!

    • This picture speaks much indeed!
When it came my way I actually expressed only that which came first in my heart… felt so much is left unsaid yet! Thank you for your kind words of appreciation…
At times it is a struggle for us all to reflect and express what is in our thoughts and at others words flow as if they were supposed to and know when to pause as well.
After all there is always more than words can tell. 🙂🙏

  6. Beautifully expressed and inspiring!…

are you referring to that one individual who has inspired the most…

    But…

I am As much as the souls before…this is beautiful…we are all one and the same at the beginning…it is the life that we have lived and living makes what we are…

    • My maternal grandfather was a very joyful, simple, uncomplicated and gentle soul who passed away a couple of years ago.

The picture of those aged hands reminded me of him . He has many grandchildren. I simply penned my thoughts on a child seeking the wisdom of life from a well lived soul.
Thank you for your kind compliment.
